Steel Frame Installation
The refurbishment of the School of Law building was a complex and demanding project, requiring a
seamless integration of new steel elements with the existing concrete framework. T Sullivan
Engineering was selected by the University of Liverpool Construction Company (ULCCO), with whom
we have a longstanding relationship, having successfully completed numerous projects over the past
decade.
The Project
T Sullivan Engineering is honoured to have contributed to the major refurbishment of the University of Liverpool’s School of Law building, a landmark project on the university’s campus. This project involved significant enhancements to the existing concrete frame structure, and our expertise in structural steelwork was integral to the successful transformation of this important academic facility.
We provided comprehensive installation services for the structural steelwork required to extend and strengthen the existing building. This involved precise alignment with the concrete frame to ensure
structural integrity and support the new architectural features. A key feature of the refurbishment was the creation of an internal link bridge, designed to improve connectivity within the building. Our team was responsible for the fabrication and installation of the steelwork for this bridge, ensuring it met both the aesthetic and functional requirements of the design.
The refurbishment of the University of Liverpool School of Law building stands as a testament to T Sullivan Engineering’s ability to deliver complex structural solutions in challenging environments. Our successful collaboration with ULCCO on this project further solidifies our reputation as a trusted partner for high-profile construction projects. We are proud to have contributed to the enhancement of this prestigious academic institution and look forward to continuing our partnership with ULCCO on future projects
