Engineering Partner
From ensuring safer passage beneath the A540 on the Wirral Way to supporting critical infrastructure, T Sullivan has been pivotal across projects requiring robust and innovative steel solutions.
The Project
New Common Room
The existing area of the building did not have the desirable required layout for a modern education facility with small rooms and corridors. T Sullivan Engineering provided new structural steel work within the existing building to allow the space to be opened up into a bright airy open space which is much more user friendly and functional for the students and staff
Safe Access Upgrade Under the A540
The A540 is a major road adjacent to the Leahurst Campus, posing a safety risk for both students and staff accessing other parts of the campus. The existing infrastructure was insufficient for safe passage, especially during peak traffic hours. T Sullivan Engineering provided balustrades to both sides of the of the A540 thus allowing safe passage via the Wirral way
Construction of a New Post-mortem Facility
The Veterinary Hospital required a state-of-the-art post-mortem facility to enhance its research capabilities and meet the growing demands of veterinary education. The project needed to meet stringent health and safety standards while providing a functional and durable workspace. T Sullivan Engineering constructed a bespoke post-mortem facility which consisted of a new steel frame and re modelling of the building. The new post-mortem facility is fully operational, providing the Veterinary Hospital with a modern, compliant, and efficient space to conduct essential research and educational activities. The facility enhances the university’s ability to perform critical post-mortem examinations and related veterinary research.
Steel Support Frame and Access Platform for Water Tank
The Leahurst Campus required a robust support structure for a new water tank, essential for maintaining the Veterinary Hospital’s operations. The solution needed to provide both stability and ease of access for maintenance purposes.
