Upgrade of Mast Sign
Following a comprehensive structural assessment of the mast sign, the assessment concluded that while the columns were structurally sound and had several years of service life remaining, the mast head needed immediate replacement as it was corroding, compromising its integrity and aesthetics.
The Challenges
The challenge was to design and fabricate a new mast head that would not only replace the old one but also offer enhanced durability and resistance to future corrosion. To address this, T Sullivan Engineering manufactured a new mast sign head with improved fabrication techniques that allowed for galvanization, providing enhanced protection against corrosion.
The replacement of the mast sign head at Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks was completed successfully, resulting in a visually striking and structurally robust sign. The galvanized finish of the new sign head offers superior resistance to corrosion, ensuring the sign will maintain its appearance and structural integrity for many years to come.
This project not only extended the life of the sign but also enhanced the brand presence of the Designer Outlet.
